In the heart of a soul

Tick, tick, tick, sounds off another three, Tick, tick, tick, time is quickly passing by me, Tick, tick, tick, life quietly continues to knock, Tick, tick, tick, just can't stop a ticking clock, What I would give to slow the hands of time, Change the tick to a sweet, pleasant chime, Worry not so much about the passing days, All those wrinkles and mounting grays, In hindsight undo my many wrongs to rights, Change from a divider to one, who unites, Tick, tick, tick, there it goes another three, The tick of time, steady as a buzzing bee, The key for the heart is the gentle tick tock, An endless motion of the biological clock, Tick, tick, tick, just a quiet reminder for me, The tick of time soon will set me free.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, That through him, his plan of salvation, would be done, The Lamb of God, his resurrection is our promise of eternal life, Born into the world, strengthening and freeing us from our earthly strife, For those who separate themselves from the world’s treasures are told, Faith and trust in Jesus Christ will reap them a hundredfold, For those who thirst, will find refreshment from his life giving well, His mercy is everlasting, saving souls from the bondage of hell, Calling back to himself, the lost sheep that have gone astray, Fulfilling his promise of redemption, to raise their souls on the last day, The wages of sin is death, corruption of the flesh and eternal wrath, For those who choose to perish, following along the world’s twisted path, Grace will reign through righteousness; our savior will be adored, We shall reign in eternal life, with Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Picture yourself for a hundred years watching a forest grow, Impossible to see with human eyes as it grows ever so slow, The curves of a virgin seashore as pictured in a frame, After a hundred years of stormy tides it stays virtually the same, The magnificent beauty and power of a massive waterfall, With the passing of a century it hardly changes at all, Mountains so tall they pierce through the clouds drifting by, Seemingly unchanged by time reaching high into the sky, Then there's the seed created at the moment of lives inception, It is brought to life in a millisecond at the moment of conception, Immediately it undergoes an astonishing noticeable change, As the miracle of the human anatomy starts to be arranged, Such a contrast of pictures when before our very eyes, Lives wonder being transformed with every new sunrise, The splendor and beauty of nature brilliant in every way, Created by the hand of God as are the lives born everyday, In a forest or along the shore adorned with a steep cliff wall, Enjoying the beauty and majesty of a massive waterfall, Or just gazing in total awe of the mountains standing tall, Just a glance puts one in a trance of the majesty of it all, Each uniquely beautiful sharing in God's universal space, Connecting to His ultimate creation, life, and the human race.

I will give you the gift of wisdom, Which your adversaries Shall not withstand, Empower you with my Spirit, With the wave of my mighty hand,
Make nought the wisdom of the foolish and wise, I will send prophets and apostles to prophesies, The craftiness of hypocrites will be taken away, Wisdom, rulers of this world shall not gainsay,
A life giving spirit of pure knowledge and peace, The wisdom of the righteous and meek will increase, Faith will not stand in the wisdom of man, This faith is reveled from the Master's plan,
Those among you, rich in mercy, bearing good fruit, Words of wisdom given through the Spirit to one, To another through the same Spirit the words of truth, Through the Spirit shall my will be done,
I will give you the gift of Wisdom, Let the Spirit of the Lamb dwell in you richly, Glory, honor, power, riches, and thanksgiving, Wisdom filled Spirit of Christ the King, Amen!

The Passion
Alone in the garden to His Father He prayed, His disciples asleep under the trees where they laid. My Father in heaven take this cup from Me, But not as I will it, let your will be done through Me. The soldiers approach, His disciples in fear, Peter draws his sword and severs ones ear. Jesus surrenders without a fight, As He’s taken away in the dark of the night. As the cock crows, Peter begins to cry, Told by Jesus three times He would deny. Convicted and accused of blasphemy, Pilate is pressured and gives a decree. In a courtyard filled with a crowd, They cursed at Him so load. Pilate is seated upon his throne, Jesus stands there all alone. A murderer is spared and set free, The carpenters make a cross from a tree. His flesh was beaten from His bones, Shocked by the immense pain He moans. A crown of thorns thrust on His head, His precious blood dripping, He was almost dead. Pilate washed his hands of the whole affair, Our Lord knew fully His time was near. So He took up His cross with our sins how it weighed, Each step He took to His father He prayed. Falling three times He suffered with pain, Please My Father in heaven let this not be in vein. On the cross He was thrown, His eyes looked up to heaven, He felt so alone with this cross He was given. Nailed and lifted His eyes looked down, For His garments the lots rolled across the ground. His mother’s heart broken and tears in her eyes, The dark clouds gather above in the sky. Father forgive them for they know not what they do, His head fell limp and his mission was through. Lightning, thunder and rain from the sky, There was no doubt now for our sin’s He had died. God our Father’s love is so great for everyone, That He gave us Himself as He gave us His Son.
God’s Servant, Anthony
