In the heart of a soul

Father, thank you for the breath of life you breathe into me, Thank you for the womb that loved and nourished me, Thank you for a father's wisdom that has guided all my days, Thank you for his unending love you hear him when he prays,
Father, the radiance of sunshine is your light shining through, Thank you for the father, who has been a reflection of you, Thank you for the truthful words you entrust him to say, Thank you for his patient compassion never does it sway,
Father, thank you for your everlasting love, merciful, and true, Thank you for a grace-filled father, who trusts totally in you, Thank you for his strength, from which his children draw, Thank you for his example of you to forgive our every flaw,
Father, no words could ever express how much that I love you, Thank you for the father, who directed my heart toward you, Thank you for his life; to you Father he has given his all, Thank you Dad for listening you have answered our Father's call, Amen!

Sometimes you feel so all alone, Life seems to be standing still, Searching for a certain tone, Or a song to satisfy your will, Sometimes it's so hard to smile, With your heart and soul at war, This emotion may persist awhile, Till time seems to pass no more, Then one day from out of the blue, You sense that change is in the air, Walls that were closing in on you, All at once begin to disappear, Breakthrough - walls that close you in, The power is within you, Breakthrough - the grip of vise and sin, Start fresh and start new, Breakthrough - you are not alone, The power is within you, Breakthrough - from your danger zone, Refresh and renew, Be the person you want to be, Your life is a perfect melody, A song written just for you, Breakthrough - Breakthrough - Breakthrough!!!

For you I came into this world, you mean so much to me,
To save you from your sinfulness is why I came to be,
A love so great for you my child, they nailed me to a tree,
Fear not that you once were lost; the Lord has set you free,
You always do the little things that no one else can see,
For a stranger or a friend when you see a special need,
When things become difficult you find the time to pray,
With faith that I am with you, to guide you on your way,
Let your heart not be troubled when temptation comes to you,
You have been given the grace that will see you through,
Out in the rough waters where the storms of life will be,
When their fury cast you around, keep your faith in me,
Share your love with your brother; extend peace to a friend,
Let them know of this love and a peace that will never end,
Placed in your heart is the wisdom, knowing the words to say,
Speak them to those who hunger, thirst, and have lost their way,
Remember when you do this, your doing it for me,
A love so great for you my child; they nailed me to a tree.

Eve and Adam Appletree were the perfect couple, It has been said, they were a match made in heaven. They had it all; stunning beauty, inside and out, Not a care in the world, perfect in every way. They were in total control of their environment, The world was theirs without the asking. No rules, regulations, or governing powers, Gardens of plenty, trees abundant with fruits and flowers. No need for designer suits or custom made dresses, A big house, fine car, or any other of lives excesses. Life in Paradise just as wonderful as it could be, Everything was theirs except the center apple tree. The voice of the serpent would now plant a seed, In the garden to Eve who was without a need. If you really seek the wisdom power to know-it-all, Then eat of the apple, surely you will not fall. She reached up, grabbed an apple and took a bite, Immediately she was filled with sadness not delight. So too her husband who had also bitten of the fruit, Became ashamed, overwhelmed, and destitute. So goes the story of Eve and Adam Appletree, A story so familiar today; just take a look and see. When we move from the center of the grace of life, We move away from God and The Tree of Life, He is the Master who loves, and sustains us all, Compassionate and merciful even after the fall. When we here the alluring sound of a cunning voice, Know from where it comes and make the right choice. The center of our existence is the Master, who holds the key, As it was in the beginning, for Eve, Adam, and the apple tree.

Our Lord, why do we not understand? Our God, why are we unable to see? Our All, Why all the senseless pain? Have we reached the point of no return, Playing out at last the final hand, Living out our lives without concern, How much more can we all withstand, Has it now just become all about me, Just doing anything we want to do, Do we live our lives as adrift at sea, Drifting away from all that is true, It's alright nothing is ever wrong, As long as it feels good go for it, All we really want to do is belong, Even if it leads us into a human cesspit, Does it feel good when we act real bad, Will it fulfill our every desire and need, Are we just taken place in a passing fad, Or has pleasure taken over as our creed, Our Lord, grace us with wisdom to understand, Our God, help us focus clearly that we may see, Our All, sustain us in the midst of trials and pain, For through You, with You, and in You, We place our confidence, hope, and trust, Our Lord, Our God, Our All, Amen!
